What's the story on
thatleetboy?
Photographer George Leet, grew up in the small town of
Hudson, Quebec. He began taking pictures at age seven, and
first entered the darkroom for a fifth grade science
project. His skills grew shooting for the high-school
yearbook, and as the Leet Family party photographer.
Several years spent hitch-hiking allowed George a freedom
to explore both the world and himself, and offered him the
opportunity to become a quiet observer, to consider a
subjective point of view. George graduated as one of the
top photography students from London's Fanshawe College.
He then moved to Toronto where he was soon running the
in-house photography studio at The Watt Group, one of
Canada's largest design studios. After nine years there, he
started his own commercial photography studio, and created
hundreds of outstanding photographic images for food and
product packaging, as well as for catalogues, print ads,
and retail environments.
George got his first mac and started dabbling in Photoshop
over thirteen years ago. He now exclusively shoots digital
images. His favourite camera of the moment is the Canon 1Ds
Mark II: definitely cutting-edge technology, arguably the
finest digital SLR in the world. Images will be provided to
you as 95MB 16 bit RGB files. You can trust his experience,
creativity and technical expertise.
